Mulgrave Gardens is a private garden, showcasing a diverse array of native and introduced tropical species. Carefully curated and lovingly tended over several years, this is the perfect place for a garden tour Cairns, with a difference. Meet the owner responsible for this secluded garden patch of paradise and explore its different zones, on a guided tour.
The garden was created several years ago, with a foundation of established tropical fruit trees. This includes six species of mango, sour sop trees, rambutans, mangosteens, black sapote, tamarind and the monstera deliciosa (whose leaves inspired our logo).
The design was planned out in advance, to create a multitude of outdoor living spaces, which are easily navigated with winding pathways and separated by well-tended garden beds.
On our guided garden tour Cairns, you’ll explore Mulgrave Gardens with the owner. Learn about the many different species that thrive here, and be amazed at the variety of foliage, flowers and plants that merge to create a Balinese-style garden, just a 30 minute drive from Cairns.
Colourful features of the garden include an array of frangipani trees, orchids and bromeliads, cordylines, hibiscus, crotons, alpinias, heliconias and more. This means that no matter the time of year, there’s always an abundance of colour at Mulgrave Gardens.
Mulgrave Gardens does host open days at the gardens from time to time, and these are promoted on our social media channels. Alternatively, you contact us on 0447 048 828 or info@mulgravegardens.com.au to discuss your garden tour Cairns request and requirements. Please note: catering can be arranged for groups and we have secure offstreet parking which can accommodate buses and coaches. Ask for more information at the time of enquiry.
