Permanent built features of Mulgrave Gardens’ Cairns outdoor event hire space include a 4 x 7m Balinese Hut, a Balinese Day Bed and shaded Peaceful Pond. Beyond that, you’re welcome to work with various event organisers and stylists to create the event of your dreams. We’ve had magical additions of lights, creating a fairy garden effect, marquees for weddings and dance floors for parties and corporate celebrations.

Cairns Garden Event Hire

Cairns garden event hire is available at Mulgrave Gardens, for private and public occasions. This beautifully presented and immaculately maintained tropical garden, occupies a few acres, on a 12 acre private property in the Little Mulgrave Valley.

Carefully designed to create a vibrant, Balinese inspired setting, Mulgrave Gardens is well established and lovingly tended by its owners, to provide perfect presentation for all Cairns garden event hire requirements.

The garden itself is a celebration of colour throughout the year. Its flowering plants include frangipanis, orchids and a multitude of gingers, heliconias and alpinias. Not to mention grevillas, assorted climbing vines, hibiscus and more. Cordylines tall and small add their own tropical splash to the colour palette, complementing the bamboo, big and small palms and tropical fruit trees.

While the Balinese Hut, statement entry doors, day bed with thatched roof, and assorted statues and water features across the garden, complete the ambience of this beautiful tropical garden.

Private Tropical Garden

Mulgrave Gardens is located on a private property and is available for Cairns garden event hire, throughout the year. Several years old, the garden is well established with towering trees and bamboo, smaller ferns and palms, climbing vines and more.

Balinese Inspired Plantings

Each plant has been carefully chosen and positioned, to create a rich and layered garden which provides colour throughout the year. There’s a diverse abundance of plants, which in turn attracts birds, butterflies, green tree frogs and a host of native creatures.
