Mulgrave Gardens is a first class garden function venue. Cairns clients can choose us to host an array of events, with everything from book launches to music recitals, high teas and baby showers, networking events, product launches and more.
Located in Little Mulgrave Valley, about a 30 minute drive from Cairns, Mulgrave Gardens is a privately owned and operated property, as well as being a council approved venue. Permanent features of our Cairns garden function venue include, but are not limited to, large and well maintained gardens with light and water features, a 4 x 7m Balinese Hut, a Balinese Day Bed, shaded Peaceful Pond Pergola, large freshwater aquarium, and modern amenities facilities. In addition, event organisers, stylists and catering companies, appreciate the easy access to mains power and water, as well as plenty of secure, off-street parking for attendees.
The maximum number of guests that can be accommodated at this garden function venue Cairns, is 120. Mulgrave Gardens can be hired 7 days a week for events during the day and/or night.
Mulgrave Gardens is made for high teas and garden parties. Carefully planted and tended over several years, the garden itself is a multi-layered, tropical tapestry of colourful foliage and blooms. A showcase of native and introduced plants, creating a picture perfect backdrop for your high tea.
The Balinese Hut is a permanent feature of the garden, which faces an expanse of manicured lawns. It’s the perfect place to lay your high tea spread of delicious finger foods and treats. Guests are welcome to mingle and enjoy the garden surrounds, or tables and chairs can be set-up. Pending your requirements, we can also have marquees and large shade umbrellas.
